I am an old friend to Flo/Valley and have loved the group since 1962 or 1963.
Eddie Hobine, an old buddy along with many others.
I still enjoy visiting when I can.
Still a member of St. Louis Suburban Chapter (The Gentlemen of Sound.) www.gentlemenofsound.org and II am also a member of The Ambassadors of Harmony but not a singing member. Great website Duane. =D

I was active from '71 to '79 & Pres in '73. I sang Bari in the Blendaires - we won the '75 Area Novice Contest. I sang with the chorus in the '76 Area Contest when they announced Suburban as the winner until they passed out the tally at the afterglow showing an error in the point addition. I sang briefly with Shreveport, but mainly did Church singing (Our Choir got to sing in Carnegie Hall).
I sang B'shop in Austin '92 to '97. From '97 to '01 I sang with the HOT Chorus from Central Texas. We won the SW District the years that the VM was not competing. I sang with them at International in'& '00. I retired from singing in 2001 when I started wearing a hearing aid. I have many memories of the Florissant Chapter ie getting trained by Midge Galloway and winnig the Area Contest, the great shows (We had the first show at the Florissant Civic Center in 1973), the Pamper Campers and just the good people and fun in general.
