Outside
front of the cabin “ELM” All these cabins are octagon
shaped with a huge vaulted ceiling.

To the
left is the drive leading up to the cabin
|
Across
from the cabin is a pavilion with picnic tables and three
standalone BBQ pits
|
To the
right and back are three more octagon cabins

One
of six suite rooms Yes, I know 6 x 2 = 12, and I said each
cabin sleeps 14. On each of the two middle suites, there is a
common wall, facing the middle of the room, which is used as a
“closet” wall. There is a bed on the outside of each of these
“closet” walls. Now we equal 14.

Enjoyed
lots of singing, fellowship, fun and more singing in between
keeping up with the Cardinals Game – Way Go To Cardinals. As
always, Joe was ready for the Cardinals to win. We celebrated
with “Sparkling” Red Grape Juice. I had an excellent
chance to practice my AHSOW (Ancient Harmonious Society Of
Woodshedders) skills of Bari. I got to sing Bari the whole
weekend – it was fun but Bari's you can keep your part! For
the Young-At-Heart and not far from the cabins, there is
available to us, a huge Recreation Hall with lots of sports
equipment. There is even a small Rock Climbing Wall near the
Rec Hall. For the Able-Bodied, there are several hiking
trails.
