God's Gain, Our Loss
Words
cannot describe the grief that overcame the Florissant Valley
Barbershoppers upon learning that our fellow barbershopper, Jack
Walsh had passed away. Being a charter member of the Florissant
Chapter, Jack was known and loved by all that ever came in contact
with him. In recent years, Jack was best known for his dependability
and follow thru on barbershop functions such as the annual picnic,
pamper camper, ladies night, and last but not least Jack rarely
missed a singout. Jack never was one to shy away from responsibility.
He has served as both Chapter Officer and Board Member in the past
years, helping to mold the Florissant Barbershoppers into the
greatest chapter in the society. Jack will always be remembered for
his love of barbershop singing and especially the song “My Wild
Irish Rose”. It was indeed a privilege to have Jack as a
friend.
The Florissant Barbershoppers
extend their deepest sympathy to his bereaved family, especially to
his dear wife, Pat, whom we all know and love so well.
